At the tender age of just seven years old, Chef Philippe Chevrier already knew he would become a chef, having inherited a passion for cooking from his mother and grandmother, who prepared regional, family-style, hearty cuisine. He realized a dream when he became the owner of Domaine de Chateauvieux in 1986-ever since, his proprietorship has been an excellent reason to stop in the heart of Satigny, the largest wine-growing region in Switzerland, just a few kilometers outside Geneva. Philippe Chevrier surrounds himself with a talented team, including chef Francois Periers and pastry chef Manuel Pereira, who work with the finest ingredients. Amid a beautiful natural setting, Domaine de Chateauvieux is an exceptional destination for curious epicureans in search of new discoveries and authenticity. This former winegrower s farm, which dates to the 16th century, also offers guest rooms that combine timeless charm with contemporary touches.
