Kandooma Maldives is a tropical island oasis located a short, approximately 45-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport (MLE). This all-natural island resort is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, clear turquoise waters, and offers world-class diving and surfing right at its doorstep. The resort features 154 spacious villas, offering beach, ocean, garden, or lagoon access, including overwater options and multi-bedroom configurations for families. Each individually decorated guestroom provides comfort with amenities such as memory foam beds with premium bedding, flat-screen televisions, complimentary wireless internet access, and air conditioning. Selected rooms also feature MP3 docking stations, satellite programming, kitchenettes, balconies or terraces, and separate living areas. Bathrooms are equipped with complimentary toiletries and bidets. Guests can embark on a diverse culinary journey with three restaurants, including The Kitchen, offering international cuisine, and a coffee shop/cafe for snacks. Families are well catered for with the Kandoo Kids Club, offering daily educational and recreational activities, and the Holiday Inn Kids Stay and Eat Free program. Babysitting services are available for a surcharge. The resort offers complimentary wireless internet access throughout, a 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff, concierge services, dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. Airport transfers are arranged via shared speedboat for a surcharge, and guests are required to provide flight details at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Please note the resort has specific policies: a Dive Free Program for certified divers (conditions apply), a Surf Policy requiring bookings through Perfect Wave, and a strict Drone Policy (prohibited without prior notice). Third-party activity providers are not permitted. The resort is smoke-free, with designated smoking areas. Renovation work is scheduled from May 15, 2026, to September 30, 2026, affecting one dining venue, a bar/lounge, the exterior, and the front desk, with efforts made to minimize disturbance.
