Four self-contained cedar cottages nestled on 120 acres of bushland in Millfield offer a secluded Hunter Valley retreat. Each cottage features two bedrooms sleeping up to six guests (using the double sofa bed), a fully equipped kitchen, a private balcony with BBQ, a wood-burning fireplace (wood provided in cooler months), reverse-cycle air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with VAST satellite, DVD and CD player, and a hammock. Three cottages have private heated spas. A complimentary local cuisine breakfast is served daily (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM). Onsite amenities include free self-parking, express check-in/out, babysitting (surcharge), tour/ticket assistance, a picnic area, and onsite massages. Located a 10-minute drive from Petersons Wines and Bimbadeen Lookout, the cottages are minutes from several Hunter Valley wineries (including Briar Ridge Vineyard and Mount Pleasant Winery), event venues (Roche Estate, Bimbagen Winery, Hope Estate), and are conveniently located for concert transfers. Directions: From Cessnock, take Wollombi Road 12.5 km towards Wollombi. Turn right at the junction of Wollombi and Mount View Roads in Millfield and drive 4.4 km; the entrance is on the right.
