A stunning white coral sand beach and vast turquoise lagoon greet you as you touch down at the beautiful island resort of Kanuhura – a member of ‘The Leading Small Hotels of the World’ and sister hotel to the world renowned ‘Le Touessrok. Perfect for families and yet being uncrowded, it is ideal as a romantic get away too. Kanuhura is set in the pristine waters of Lhaviyani Atoll 40 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport. There are 100 luxury villas, each with top-class room features and amenities and your own personal butler service. Villas are situated either on the island's sandy beach or in a little village of over water bungalows. In-villa dining is a speciality, providing romantic dinners and special celebrations in the privacy of your villa, or at various locations around the island. Kanuhura has a wide range of recreational activities, bars, restaurants, and sports facilities. These include an aerobics studio and gymnasium. You'll also find a large freshwater swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. The hotel is justly proud of its spa – one of the largest Asian-style spas in the Maldives – the perfect place for that added touch of pampering. Close by you will find some of the world's best diving sites, with the outer reef dropping down nearly 2,000 metres and needless to say the resort has its own dive centre to help you plan your dive trips.
