Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences is a luxurious tropical island getaway located in the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, just a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport. This large, private, and naturally lush island offers a serene escape with its own sandy beach. The resort features 67 individually decorated villas and residences, offering a choice of island homes that hover over clear waters (such as Water Lagoon and Reefwater Villas), are nestled amongst lush treetops (Treetop Villas), or sit on pristine white sand shores (Beach Villas). Each air-conditioned accommodation boasts a private pool, a terrace or balcony, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and shower, often including deep soaking tubs and complimentary toiletries. Modern amenities such as flat-screen televisions with cable TV, a minibar, and a seating area are provided. Some rooms also feature separate living rooms, a refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities, and safety deposit boxes. Guests can indulge in a diverse culinary journey across multiple restaurants and bars, including Japanese cuisine at FEELING KOI. A complimentary full breakfast is served daily, and various meal plans including half board and all-inclusive options are available. For refreshments, there are multiple bars and lounges, including a beach bar and a poolside bar, offering craft cocktails and fine wines. 24-hour room service is also available, with kosher choices and BBQ facilities catering to diverse preferences. Transfers to the resort are mandatory and available via two options: a 30-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport (for arrivals between 06:30 and 15:15 hrs) or a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport followed by a speedboat ride (for arrivals after 15:15 hrs). Both transfer options are provided for a surcharge. The resort is situated near Kihaadhuffaru Island Beach (5.6 km / 3.5 mi) and Hibalhidoo (12.6 km / 7.8 mi), and within the vicinity of Kihaadhuffaru Island Pier and Hanifaru Bay. Smoking is permitted solely in designated zones. The resort staff speak English, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese.
