In a forested area beside the Haguro River, this tranquil hot spring inn is 1 km from Sekine train station and 9 km from the Yonezawa City Uesugi Museum. The 10 airy rooms are warmly decorated and offer forest views. All have living rooms with sofas; some have tatami floors and traditional short-legged dining tables. There are no TVs. Parking is complimentary. Kaiseki dining is available in a refined restaurant that has a bar. There's also an onsen, a bathhouse with natural hot spring water, as well as outdoor seating. Guests must book in groups of 2.
