Phillipshaugen Lodge, a historical gem built in 1899 by Ethelbert Lort Phillip, is situated on a river in Sunndal. The lodge features 11 historical guest rooms, each offering complimentary wireless internet access, and bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers. Select rooms also provide a refrigerator. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Øksendal Mountains, glaciers, and surrounding landscapes from the living rooms, bedrooms, large garden, terrace, and the sauna.
