Shambala Private Game Reserve is nestled in the malaria-free Waterberg Mountain Range of Limpopo, approximately a two-hour drive from Johannesburg. Situated on a river and steps from the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, the lodge offers an unparalleled wildlife experience. The reserve is home to the Big Five, cheetahs, antelopes, and spotted hyenas, with hippopotamuses and Nile crocodiles inhabiting the Sterkstroom River and Douw Steyn Dam.
