Hotel Luna Convento is a 4-star hotel steeped in history, housed in a former convent founded in 1222 by Saint Francis of Assisi. This historic property showcases spectacular Moorish architecture and features one of the oldest cloisters in the Amalfi area, with its church still used for weddings and celebrations. The hotel offers 43 individually styled guest rooms, each surrounding the ancient 13th-century courtyard and providing spectacular views of the crystal-clear Amalfi Coast. Rooms are decorated in a warm Mediterranean style and equipped with modern amenities including individually adjustable air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a complimentary in-room safe, a minibar (for a fee), and tiled floors. Daily towel and linen changes are provided. Guests can enjoy local delicacies at the hotel's two restaurants, which serve typical Amalfi cuisine combining sea and mountain flavours. One restaurant overlooks the coast, while the other is situated in the ancient tower. A scrumptious, homemade buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:30 to 10:30, and a bar is available for evening relaxation.
