Donnington Grove Country Club is an 18th-century Gothic house, originally built between 1763 and 1772, set in a secluded position on the outskirts of Newbury and overlooked by the historic Donnington Castle. The estate spans 550 acres, comprising parkland, farmland, and woodland, with the River Lambourn flowing through it. The club features 39 en suite guestrooms, available in the main house, summer house, or lodges in the secret garden. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, complimentary wireless internet access, coffee/tea making facilities, a desk, and a phone with free local calls. Guests can dine at Beaus Bar and Restaurant, which is open daily and offers an outdoor area for al fresco dining on a south-west-facing terrace with views over the practice area, covered driving range, lakes, and the River Lambourn.
